Practice Nurses
We have a team of practice nurses who are available by appointment. Our practice nurses provide many services including family planning; immunisations for children and foreign travel; diabetic, coronary heart disease and asthma clinics; cervical smears; smoking cessation; blood pressure assessments and dietary and weight advice.
All the nurses listed below are able to carry out general nursing duties such as Blood Pressure, Ear Syringing, Injections, Health Advice, Lifestyle Advice, in addition to their specialist skills.

Sue Chapman
Qualifications
RGN, RFPN
Biography
Sue qualified in 1980 at St Richards Hospital, Chichester. She is a team leader of the practice nurses. Sue has studied broadly since qualifying and has a wide experience and a keen interest in the management of diabetes and heart disease. Sue runs the child immunisation clinic, offers a comprehensive family planning and well woman service and as a nurse prescriber can help with a broad range of minor illnesses. She also offers specialist clinics for the University of Chichester students. Sue is married to a Chichester born Architect and has a son and a daughter.

Kate Collins

Biography
Kates background is A & E. She has 8 years experience and specialises in Family Planning, Asthma, COPD and Travel. She is also Nurse Prescriber and can treat a broad range of minor illnesses.

Karen Qualified in 1985 and has special interests in Asthma COPD and Diabetes. She is also trained in Family Planning.

Biography
Karen trained in 1978 as a Nurse in Portsmouth. She has worked as Practice Nurse in the Armed Forces, as a District Nurse and a Marie Curie Nurse. She took a career break to raise her family and returned to general practice as a Health Care Assistant. She has 8 years experience in a practice in Gosport, and joined us in July 2009. Karen undertakes blood tests, blood pressure checks, ECG’s, simple dressings, and respiratory reviews including spirometry.

Grada Munns

Biography
Grada qualified in 1989 in Holland, then qualified as a Midwife in 1992 in Croydon. She worked as a Midwife until 2000. Grada started here as a Health Care Assistant in May 2009 and undertakes blood tests, blood pressure checks, ECG’s, simple dressings and assists with minor surgery.
