Cookies and our Online Services

If you receive an error stating that you must enable cookies when attempting to access online services, please add the EMIS website to your list of sites allowed to save third-party cookies. EMIS provides our online service.

We do not recommend setting your Privacy setting to Low.

To add EMIS in Internet Explorer, complete the following steps:

1. Open Internet Options (Tools, Internet Options)
2. Open the Privacy tab
3. Click on the Sites button
4. In the box marked Address of website, enter “e-mis.co.uk” (without the quotes)
5. Click the Allow button to add to your list of managed websites.
6. Click Ok to close the Per Site Privacy Actions window
7. Click Ok to close the Internet Options window.
8. Click here to return to our online services page.

By default, Firefox will allow sites to save third-party cookies. If you have disabled this, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Options window (Tools, Options...)
2. Click on the Privacy icon
3. Open the Cookies tab
4. Click on the Exceptions button
5. In the box marked Address of web site, enter “e-mis.co.uk” (without the quotes)
6. Click the Allow button to add to your list of managed websites.
7. Click Close to close the Exceptions - Cookies window
8. Click Ok to close the Options window.
9. Click here to return to our online services page.

If you use a different internet browser, please use the browser help facility to find instructions for adding a site to your list of sites allowed to save third-party cookies.
